Standing Terms and Conditions

1. Winners are expected to make their own transport arrangements to the location of the prize at their own expense.
2. These Terms and Conditions are the Standing RAFA Youth Free Prize Draw terms and conditions.
3. By entering the Free Prize Draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and that the decision of The RAF Association is final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion.

5. Under the Gambling Act 2005, this Draw is defined as a Free Prize Draw and as such does not require a licence from the Gambling Commission.
6. The rules and conduct of the RAFA Youth Free Prize Draw is solely the responsibility of the RAF Association.
7. The Free Prize Draw can only be entered via the RAFA Youth Member extranet site on the RAF Association website.
8. Participants can only enter each Free Prize Draw once.
9. The Free Prize Draw is free to enter.
10. The number of prize winners and prizes on offer will differ from Draw to Draw so the number and type of prizes available for a specific Draw will be publicised each month on the entry page.
11. Additional terms and conditions specific to the prizes on offer for each individual Free Prize Draw will be publicised on the entry page.
12. The Draw will take place on the date specified on the entry page.
13. Any entries received after midnight on the day before the date specified for the Draw will not be deemed valid.
14. The winners of the prizes will be selected at random by a computer from all the entries received before midnight on the date specified for the Draw.
15. The prizes are all non-refundable and non-transferable.
16. No cash alternative will be offered for the prizes.
17. Health and safety is of paramount importance to us, some prizes may present difficulties for persons with certain levels of ability. The RAF Association reserves the right to offer a more suitable alternative from a list of supplied prizes in consultation with the winner.
18. Prize Winners must be suitably dressed for the occasion and will be told of any health and safety implications pertinent to their prize before the event.
19. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible or fraudulent entries.
20. The winner(s) may be required to participate in publicity events after the Draw and by entering the Free Prize Draw acknowledge their consent to take part in publicity and for their name/photo to be published.
21. The RAF Association reserves the right in exceptional and unforeseen circumstances to substitute any of the prizes acquired for the Draw for a similar prize at absolute discretion. Amendments will be published on the web site www.rafa.org.uk
22. The winners of the Draw prizes will be notified by e-mail or telephone shortly after the Draw.
23. The promoter reserves the right to contact the winner by telephone or e-mail no matter what their opt-in status to ensure the prize is sent to the correct individual.
24. All entrants are solely responsible for providing The RAF Association with their accurate and up-to-date contact details and The RAF Association will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to contact any entrant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details that the entrant has provided. In the event that an entrant changes their contact details, they will be solely responsible for advising The RAF Association of the change.
25. The RAF Association reserves the right to re-draw the prize if the winner cannot be contacted within one week of the date specified for the Draw.
26. A list of prize winners may be obtained by written request by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Youth Community Manager, The RAF Association, Atlas House, Wembley Road, Leicester, LE3 1UT on or after the date specified for the Draw.
27. The RAF Association is not responsible and accepts no liability for the management, actions, performance and conduct of the business and/or its employees/agents. The RAF Association accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant or the winner resulting from the use of the prize. Nothing shall exclude The RAF Associations liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.
28. Nothing within these terms and conditions shall create or should be construed as creating any form of contract between any entrant and the RAF Association
29. Any complaints relating to the Youth Members Free Prize Draw should be sent in writing to the Youth Community Manager, The RAF Association, Atlas House, Wembley Road, Leicester, LE3 1UT giving full details of the complaint and supporting documentation. All complaints will be dealt with in accordance of the Associations Gambling Complaint procedure. You can obtain a copy of this procedure by contacting the Association.
30. The RAF Association is committed to protecting the entrants privacy. Data that is collected from the entrant is used lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Initially the data is used for the purpose of processing Draw chances and informing winners that they have won a prize.
31. Any entrant has the right to access the information held about them. To obtain this information, please contact the RAF Association in writing enclosing the administration fee. The RAF Association reserve the right to charge a 10.00 administration fee for providing this information. The RAF Association is not obliged to comply with a request under The Data Protection Act 1988 unless they are supplied with such information as they may reasonably require in order to satisfy themselves as to the identity of the person making the request and to locate the information which that person seeks.
32. The RAF Association will not sell, rent or grant access of any personal data to any third party without express prior permission.
33. The RAF Association retains the right to alter and amend the terms and conditions of the RAFA Youth Free Prize Draw without prior notice, but will always publish amendments on its website www.rafa.org.uk if it does so.
34. The RAF Association reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these rules.
35. Each entrant should retain a copy of these Terms and Conditions for their reference.
36. The Laws of Great Britain shall govern the interpretation and/or enforcement of these Terms and Conditions and The RAF Association and all entrants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
37. A copy of these terms and conditions are available by applying in writing by supplying a stamped addressed envelope to the Youth Community Manager at The RAF Association, Atlas House, Wembley Road, Leicester, LE3 1UT

Social Responsibility Policy

The Association is committed to ensuring that the Free Prize Draws are operated in a secure, fair and socially responsible way.
The Gambling Commission regulates gambling in the public interest. For the purpose of the Gambling Act 2005, the Youth Members Prize Draws are defined as a Free Prize Draw and as such do not require a licence from the Gambling Commission.
Consequently, the rules and conduct of the Youth Members Free Prize Draw is solely the responsibility of the RAF Association.
However, this section sets out the Associations policies and approach to ensuring we approach any Free Prize Draws in a socially responsible way.

RAF Association Policy on Fair and Open Draws

The RAF Association has the following procedures in place to ensure fair and open Draws:
The prize winners are selected at random from the eligible rafa YOUTH Members that have correctly and successfully entered the Draw.
Winners are contacted by telephone or email shortly after the Draw.
Terms and conditions of each Free Prize Draw are published on the RAF Association website.
All Youth Members have access to clear information on matters such as the Terms and Conditions of the Draw and the prizes that are available.
Any advertising and promotional material is clear and not misleading.

Any complaints relating to a rafa YOUTH Members Free Prize Draw should be sent in writing to the Youth Community Manager, The RAF Association, Atlas House, Wembley Road, Leicester, LE3 1UT giving full details of the complaint and supporting documentation. The Association will make every effort to respond to initial complaints and queries within 48 hours of receipt of the complaint. All complaints will be registered and the outcome of any complaint retained for future reference.
